Hide or cover any electrical cords and outlets. Store all household chemicals out of reach. The following indoor and outdoor plants can be toxic to a dog: English Ivy, Burning Bush, Poinsettias, Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Japanese Yew, and many spring bulbs. Check with your vet for a more comprehensive list. If you own a pool or hot tub, make sure the cover is secure and that the puppy cannot gain access to it.
