Here is a list of items you should have before bringing your new Yorkie puppy home.

1. A harness (not a collar) and a 6 foot leash for taking your Yorkie puppy outside.
2. A good supply of breeder recommended dog food.
3. Have handy the name and contact information of the Vet you'll be using.
4. Heavy ceramic or stainless steel, non-tip food and water bowls.
5. A stain & odor remover for accidents.
6. A crate to serve as your Yorkies "bed" and for trips in the car. The crate shouldn't be too big, but big enough for your Yorkie puppy to stand and turn around in.
7. Pee pee pads.
8. A tooth brush & paste (I like the finger type brush as they are easy to use).
9. Pin brush, fine tooth comb and flea comb.
10. A quality tearless shampoo and conditioner formulated for dogs only.
11. Small training treats - I recommend Nature’s Recipe brand.
12. A warm sweater or jacket to keep your Yorkie puppy warm in colder weather.
13. Nail clippers.
14. Quality chew and play toys.
